It's been over 2 weeks since my last post. (that sounds kinda like an AA meeting) Sorry, though. It's been so busy with the holiday's coming. What have you missed...
The kids and I made a quick jaunt up to Ohio the first of December. My high school football team played in the State Championship game and those of you who know where I'm from realize that football is a big deal to us. It was such a nice visit with my family, but unfortunately my team lost. Luckily for the kids, it snowed some while we were there and they got to experience playing in the snow for the first time. Yes, the first time!! It never really snows down here in NC and last year when we went to OH for Christmas it didn't snow at all. So, they had an absolute BLAST. We've also been getting ready for Christmas. We took the kids to the Franklin Christmas Parade, which was much better than I expected. Then, we had a holiday dinner with friends afterwards.
Tonight, the kids have their Preschool Christmas Program. That will be fun. They've worked so hard on their bible verse and songs. I'll have to add pictures afterwards. Lindsey is really looking forward to being on stage for the program. She is our little attention seeker. Last year, she grabbed the microphone right off the stand and starting singing into it.
Tomorrow morning, Connor has a boys Christmas party to attend and then on Saturday, Lindsey has a cookie baking party to attend for girls. I'm sure they will both have a great time. We also have Wayne's work party on Saturday evening. It's going to be busy around here the next few days.
