Different Day

Today is a different routine for us. Wayne is going to start taking the kids to Preschool 2 mornings a week. He was just given the third shift employees at the Plant, which means he is now supervisor to all the hourly employees on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Nice, huh?! So, 3 days a week, he will continue going in to work at 4 AM and coming home around 5 PM. The other 2 days he will go in around 8 AM and come home around 6 PM. At least that is his current plan. We'll see! It will be hard getting the kids to wait so late for dinner, so we'll have to do afternoon snacks again to tide them over for such a late dinner. It was weird for me not having to jump out of bed and get dressed and ready right away. If I want, I can hang out in my PJ's until Preschool pick up time!! But, I won't...

I'm worried right now about my neighbor. So, for those of you who pray...Please pray for Doug! We had barely gotten out of bed when we heard the ambulance coming up the road. We caught his wife on her way down the road and they believe Doug had a stroke overnight. They just moved into our neighborhood in January from Florida, but they are a really nice couple. They decided it was time to flee the hurricane zone and buy their retirement home, although they aren't yet retired.
