Fun Morning!

Today has been a pretty good day. The kids have been SO hyper lately...I think it's spring fever. So, since they didn't have Preschool today, I knew we had to get out of the house this morning and do something...anything! I took them to the shoe store to find some sort of water shoe or sandal for our trip to the beach...which is just over a week away!! I found some cute Nike water sandals, so those will be great.

Then, we headed over to Walmart to buy a new CD Player Boombox for their Preschool class. The teacher had asked me to help her get the computer CD player working yesterday because her Boombox was on the fritz. So, I decided to just go and buy one to donate to the class because Ms. Barbara likes to play a lot of music for the children throughout the day. I thought it was a great way to show our appreciation of all her hard work. We dropped it off to the Preschool Director and she'll give it to her later today.

After that, we went to the Fun Factory for their Mom's Morning Out program on Thursday's. The kids can play unlimited for a few hours on the merry go round, foam factory and big inflatable slide. Then, they get a pizza buffet for lunch. Wayne met us there at lunch time, so that was nice. The kids were happy to see him.

After that, we drove by the Gymnastics place to look into lessons for the summer. They do a swim & gym program that is 45 minutes of swimming lessons followed by 45 minutes of gymnastics lessons. Lindsey wants to do both sets of lessons, but Connor just wants to do the gymnastics part. He doesn't like swimming lessons because he hates putting his head under water. So, we'll see...

The kids are down for their nap and I'm just hanging out for a bit. We are headed outside to do some yardwork this afternoon, so it will be a busy day altogether.
