I've been running around all morning packing for our trip to Ohio and I need to rest a minute. So, I thought it was a good time to BLOG. We are leaving tomorrow afternoon to go visit Wayne's family. The kids are really looking forward to it because they miss Papa Sinks very much. I'm not looking forward to the drive and how achy my tailbone is going to feel by the end, but it will be a fun weekend.
Wayne taught the kids how to throw and catch a baseball last night. Connor is really starting to take an interest in sports and how to do different things. Lindsey was bored of baseball pretty quick, but Wayne and Connor threw the ball back and forth for a good half hour before it started to cool down and we needed to come inside. We did realize that he does much better at throwing with his right hand, so looks like we'll need to get him a new glove. Right now, his glove is for a lefty, which is what we thought he was going to be. He uses both hands pretty equally, but seems to have better control with his right hand. I'm glad we seem to have that figured out...for now, at least.
Here are some pictures I took last week and never got around to posting. Connor's was taken before church. For those of you who think I'm mean to make him wear ties and suits...you don't know Connor very well. This kid lives to dress up. He loves it! The other picture is of Lindsey and her friend from Preschool, Avery. We have her over after school some days for a playdate. They are great friends.
