Sweet Baby!

I just have to say how much easier it is to have 1 baby!!! Isaac is such a good boy...at least so far! He is so patient and really has a pleasant disposition.

Yesterday, my parents left for home. They have been here for 2 weeks. I always dread my mom leaving after having a baby. She was an OB nurse in the hospital for so long and she is just so helpful with taking care of me and the baby. Until yesterday, I'd had 3 kids and had never cleaned an umbilical cord. Lucky for me, though, it fell off last night!! I was sad to see my family leave, but I'm sure we'll see them again soon.

Wayne's dad and Madonna came for a short trip over the weekend too and we were happy to introduce them to Isaac too. They also left yesterday morning.

Wayne's sister, Laura, arrived on Saturday and is spending a week with us. She has been very helpful and I have really appreciated having her here. Since she is expecting twins, she is learning LOTS about newborns.

Tonight, we have a photographer coming to the house to take some pictures of Isaac with Connor and Lindsey. I wanted to get some good pictures taken of them before Isaac loses that "newborn" look. They grow up so quickly!
