Busy, Busy Weekend

What a busy, but fun weekend we had. Friday night, Wayne and I started working on Isaac's room. It took all weekend, but it's finally done. Wayne sanded the wall of diamonds on Friday and then we put on primer. Saturday morning, we painted and today we hung all the pictures and curtain. I'll have to take a picture of it. It's so cute!!

Saturday afternoon, we headed over to Springfield to do a little shopping and meet up with Mark & Mary Hammelman and their girls, Megan & Emma. We had such a good time. The kids played for a few hours at Jungle-O-Fun and then we went to Mary's parents house. It was just like old times!! There aren't many friends who you can not see for years and then just pick right back up like it was yesterday! But, Mary and I have kept in touch on almost a daily basis via Email. Our kids got along so well and Connor & Lindsey are already asking when they can see Megan and Emma again. I'll I've heard is when can they go to their house again and when can they come visit our house. They are so happy to know they have friends here in Illinois.

We are off to go watch a show because the kids are all in bed!!!!
