What a day!!

Let's start with the best news...Isaac slept for 10.5 hours straight last night!!!!! He went to bed at 8 PM and got up at 6:30 AM. He is doing great. He's been doing an 8 hour stretch for weeks, but it is getting longer now. He's such a great nighttime sleeper!!

He gave me a not so nice surprise this afternoon. We had dropped the kids at school and on our way back home stopped at Walmart to pick up a prescription. I heard him...hum...how do I say this...go #2 and noticed it was EVERYWHERE. I was only a few minutes from home, so I decided to just rush him home and deal with it there. Let's just say...it was from his knees to his shoulders, through his clothes and all over his carseat. I had to tear his entire carseat apart, straps and buckles and pad and wash the entire thing. It was covered!!! So disgusting!! But, we managed to get it all cleaned up, thank goodness.

Connor and Lindsey are loving their new school. They are making new friends and are excited to do homework this year. Crazy kids!! They are also excited for show and tell day.

This evening, after dinner, we took our nightly walk and about half way through Isaac got stung by a bee on his finger. We were clear across the subdivision, so I knocked on a strangers door and got him some ice. By the time we got home, he was swollen clear up to his elbow. I have him some Tylenol and the swelling did start going down pretty quickly. I felt so bad for him. His finger was bleeding. It was a strange sting, though. The bee was stuck to him. Wayne had to pull the bee off his finger. I've never seen that before. Usually, they just sting you and fly away. Odd.

Wayne has Connor and Lindsey in the bath and I'm off to feed Isaac. Tomorrow Wayne plans to paint the kids bathroom. Fun...Fun...Fun!
