He's got spots!

Connor stayed home from school today. He woke up covered in red spots. The doctor wanted to see him, so he had an appointment mid-morning. She believes he had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic he just finished up for Strep Throat. It's too bad because it's the only medication he will take. He's had it several times in the past with no trouble, so I'm not sure why he's suddenly having a reaction??? It's gotten progressively worse throughout the day, so she prescribed him steroids and he is taking benedryl for the itching. Poor Kid! He was so sad to have to miss school. It didn't make him feel any better when Lindsey came home telling him all the exciting things they did for "Superstar Friday." They always do fun activities on Friday afternoon for the kids who have behaved well all week. I'm hopeful that his spots will be gone tomorrow, but with they way he looks tonight, I'm sure he'll still have hives. Lindsey told the Kindergarten teacher that Connor was home sick and he was covered in goose bumps.

The kids are all to bed and Wayne and I are having a movie night. YEAH!!
