Keeping Warm

Boy - it sure has been COLD this week. Yesterday morning, it was 1.2 degrees when Wayne and I got up. BRRRR!!! We've been keeping warm, though. The kids were sitting next to the fireplace last night and they thought that was really fun. Odd the things kids enjoy!

Isaac had his 6 month check up yesterday. He is doing great. He is sitting up really good, rolling over both ways (tummy to back/back to tummy) and has his 2 teeth. The pediatrician seemed very pleased with his development. He weighed in at exactly 20 pounds and was 27 inches tall. It is hard to believe that he will be 6 months old in just 2 days. It makes me sad. Where does time go??? In the second picture, you can see his teeth pretty good.

Today, we got up and headed out early to run some errands. We let the kids get donuts at Walmart for breakfast and they were thrilled. We got some groceries from Walmart and then headed over to Target to get some stuff for Isaac.

Lindsey has another loose tooth. She is going to loose her other bottom middle tooth. How exciting! Another visit from the tooth fairy. Poor Connor thinks he will never get a loose tooth. We keep reassuring him that his time will come. Lindsey changed Isaac's diaper all by herself today for the first time. She did a good job, too!

After naps, we made a gingerbread house with Connor and Lindsey. We picked up one of those kits at Target today. I thought it would be a good family project that would provide some quality time together. The kids really enjoyed it.
