.: We're Home...and Sick!

We have made all our holiday rounds and returned to Illinois a few days ago. I haven't posted sooner because we've been passing around the flu. Connor was sick the night before we left Ohio. He was better by morning, so we left as planned. We were all healthy on Thursday, the day we drove home, which we are very thankful about. Then yesterday, both Isaac and I got sick. I'm starting to feel better this evening, but still have a bit of an upset stomach and headache. Isaac is continuing to run a fever and has a pretty running nose, but he should bounce back pretty soon. So, we'll give it a few more days to see if Wayne or Lindsey are going to get sick. Hopefully not.

Besides the sick part, we had a great Christmas!! We enjoyed our time at Laura & Eric's meeting our new nieces. Then, we headed to Wayne's dad's house, his Grandma Strawsers house and then up to my parents. We were unable to see most of my family because of Connor getting sick the night we were supposed to see them, so that was too bad. We hope to see them again soon, but doubt we'll be to Ohio again for a while. Isaac is just not a good car rider.

My parents thought it would be funny to get me a new drying rack. It's an inside joke. My old one has been broken for over a year and I've yet to buy a new one. Ha! Ha! Mom & Dad.
