100 DAY!!

Today is the 100th day of school for Connor and Lindsey. The school is having a big celebration and we've worked on lots of projects for them. Each of them took 100 of their favorite food items (Connor - Raisins, Lindsey - Chocolate Chips) to make a 100 day trail mix. They also each took 100 pennies for Chad. He is a local solider who was injured in Iraq. Lastly, we did our home project. We decided to do T-shirts that they could wear to school today. Connor's shirt has 100 Googly Eyes glued to it. Lindsey's has 100 Sparkle Butterflies glued to it. They LOVE those shirts. We had a good time making them on Sunday afternoon. I'm heading in to the school this afternoon to volunteer for some 100 day activities. I'm looking forward to spending some time in their class. Lucky for me, my neighbor adores Isaac and is always happy and willing to babysit while I go help out at the school. Here are some pictures before school today:




Also, before school today - I got to make an Airplane out of TinkerToys. How fun!! Connor really wanted to make this before school and since we were up at 5:45 (my boys are early risers), we had plenty of time. Here is the finished product:


And lastly - a cute shot of Isaac. He has been pretty upset the past few days. I think he's getting more teeth. He wants desperately to pull himself up and stand, but he just can't figure out how to do it. He'll be so happy when he can run around with the big kids!
