I was lucky...I got the flu, but not nearly as bad at my mom or Isaac. I'm thankful for that!! I felt really bad on Monday afternoon and was lucky that Isaac took a 3 hour nap because I did too. I rested all night and was in bed at 7:30. I felt much better yesterday and today I feel completely back to normal.
I think Isaac is finally over this bug, but I still can't get him to eat anything. He's nursing good for me now, but wants nothing to do with baby food or table food. He has lost about 1.5 pounds since Friday. Yesterday, I had to get his 6-12 month clothes back out because his 12-18's were falling off him. He could really go back down a size in diapers too because his waist really slimmed down. My poor little baby!! Here is a picture of him with Wayne last night. Wayne was trying to get some work done, but Isaac wanted his attention...or his laptop. Not sure which he wanted more!
We are having our bedroom and bathroom and Connor's bedroom painted this week. Dean, the painter, is a really nice Christian man. Connor loves him! He kept calling him "painter" or "painter man" yesterday. I was so embarrassed. This morning, I kept going over his name with Connor, so hopefully today he'll call him Mr. Dean. Dean painted our entryway and upstairs hallway a few months ago and did such a great job. Wayne hates to hire someone else to paint, but he just doesn't have the time right now and he hates painting anyway. I'll post some pictures of the rooms when they are done. Our room is an interesting color, but it's growing on me. It does look nice with our bedding, which is the goal. I just wouldn't have normally picked this color. Connor's room is going to be a dark blue and it looks like a beautiful color!! Here is a picture of Connor and "painter man" yesterday.
This is a picture of Lindsey before school yesterday. I won these gauchos on ebay with some tops I wanted, but swore I'd never put them on her because I thought they were odd looking. Well, I caved and think she looks SO cute in them!! So, here is her posing in her gauchos. Have you noticed that Lindsey poses in every picture we take of her. It's like she thinks she's on the red carpet. She always has one foot in front of the other. She's silly.
As you can see below, Isaac can successfully go up the stairs now. I didn't know he could until we got to my mom's. We had never let him near our steps before and we got there and within minutes, he was going up the steps. He knows he's supposed to stay away from them, so he goes up one step and then turns around to be sure you are seeing him do it. Too funny!

Glad you are feeling better! I know, those darn gauchos are so ugly to look at, but so cute on! My kids both have them on today.
