Dance Recital

Wow - I was a proud mom this week as Lindsey did her first dance recital on Saturday night. I give my mom a lot of credit for keeping me in dance for so many years. Dance recitals are a lot of money, time and stress for the parents.

Lindsey's dance studio was pretty particular and all the girls had to have their hair a certain way and have certain colors of makeup...It was a week! Her hair had to be done in double french braids, which I couldn't do, so I had to take her to the hair salon twice this week to have it done. It looked fantastic! She looked SO pretty with her hair done and makeup on. She danced two numbers. Her ballet routine was danced to Candle on the Water and her tap routine was danced to the country song Little Bitty. Both dances were very cute and Lindsey did great...serious...but great!

She hasn't really enjoyed dance very much, but since the recital, she's thinking about taking lessons again next year. We'll see when it is time to sign up.
