Shot Day

Today is a dreaded day. Isaac goes this afternoon for his one year shots. UGH! That means he'll probably be grumpy and feverish for at least the next 2 days. Poor little guy just doesn't do well with his vaccinations. I'm not sure how many shots he gets today, probably around 4.

The weekend was nice. We planted a bunch of flowers on Saturday morning because my neighbor lady keeps bringing me starts to her perennials. It's very sweet of her, but I'm hoping to be about done. We probably planted close to 100 little starts this year. After lunch, we all took a nap. Connor and Lindsey had a birthday party at 4 and then we all went to a going away party for a couple we have gotten to know here.

We skipped church on Sunday because they were doing an outdoor service at a local park and we weren't sure how that would work with Isaac. So, we were pretty lazy all morning. We headed to the outlet mall in the afternoon to get some clothes for our cruise. I got 3 cute dresses, so I think I'm all set for the dinners.

Just think...in 2 weeks from now, I'll be sailing the Caribbean from San Juan to Barbados. Sounds great...huh? I can't wait!!!! This is a well needed vacation.
