Two Sitters One Day

Today has and will be a different kind of day. I'm not used to having babysitters very often. Today, I'm getting two babysitters in one day! The neighbor lady, Naomi, watched Isaac this afternoon while I took Connor & Lindsey to the movies. She didn't have to do much as I laid him down right before she came over and he is still sleeping 3 hours later and she's gone. I'm trying to get him down to just one nap a day...one LONG nap a day. It's been rough keeping him up all morning, as he gets a bit tired and crabby. But, he does seem to take a good nap when he finally goes to sleep. Best of all, the past 2 days he has slept in later...until 7 AM, which is an hour later than normal. So, we'll see if he keeps that up. The kids and I went to see Shrek the Third. It was okay, but not as funny as the first 2. The kids had a blast being at the theater and pigging out on popcorn.

Tonight, Wayne and I are going out for our anniversary. He gave me a card on Wednesday that told me to be ready to leave tonight at 5 and that the kids are staying home. He told me all the plans are made with a sitter (for all 3 of them) and that I just need to be ready to go. I think we are going to dinner and do a little last minute shopping before our cruise. Wayne still needs to get a pair of Crocs, so we'll probably go to the mall. We could go no where and it would still be fun and relaxing just to have time together without the kids. It's a much needed break.
