It cleans AND entertains!

Wayne got me a Roomba for Christmas. For those of you that don't know what a Roomba is, it is a robotic vacuum cleaner. Wayne thought it would help me with my cleaning duties which I'm a little OCD about. I hate a dirty house! I don't mind to vacuum and I was a little unsure if this robot thing would do a good job. Really...how can a little round robot know if it is getting the entire room clean??? Well, I'm eating my words because this little thing is like magic! I love it!! It even goes under beds and furniture where I can't sweep. Roomba has kinda become a pet in our house. We all sit in awe watching it do its thing. The kids even named it Emerson after Connor's middle name. You should here them ask if we can get out Emerson so they can watch him. So, ladies, if you want to entertain your kids for hours on end...invest in a Roomba! Here are some pictures of Emerson doing his thing...

Since I'm enjoying my Roomba so much, I decided to take my Christmas money and buy myself a Scooba. It's the mopping version of a Roomba. Like I said before, I don't mind vacuuming, but I despise mopping. To me, that is the worst household duty. I'd rather clean toilets and scrub showers than mop my floors. However, with 3 kids, I can't afford to quit mopping. So, my Scooba has shipped and should be here soon. The kids already named it Elizabeth after Lindsey's middle name. They are so silly.

Today is our first day without Wayne. He had to head back to work. The kids are home from school until the 7th, so we are enjoying their last few days of break before starting back to school. They start Karate tonight, so they are looking forward to seeing Renshi Christie and Shihan Devore. They are testing next Friday night for their Green Belts, so they need to get working hard the next two weeks.
