I'm sick!

Sick Mom + 3 Kids + Daddy gone all week = A Fussy Mom!!

I have started with a horrible cold. I have terrible chest congestion and I'm loosing my voice. I told the kids we'll probably be doing sign language by tomorrow. Connor and Lindsey must feel bad for me because they were on their very best behavior today! I wish Isaac would have followed their lead. He started off the day pretty good, but fell to pieces by 10 AM. He screamed all through lunch and I finally put him to bed at 11:30, which is about 30 minutes earlier than normal. He took an excellent nap and was in a much better mood the rest of the day. I finally got to feel in the back of his mouth tonight and one of his 2 year molars is starting to work its way into place. He was one big lump back their on the bottom right side.

I had a surprise planned for the kids after school tonight. They both did good on their Midterms last week, so Amber (the sitter) and I took them to DQ. Some friends met us there and the kids ate and played for about an hour. We had fun and it was nice getting out of the house and spending time with other adults. It's pretty lonely with Wayne gone during the week. Tomorrow my neighbor, Naomi, is coming over and my friend Mandi and her son are coming over for the evening, so that will make the day pass quickly.

My ebay auctions are ending tonight and seem to be doing very good. I'm glad I spent the time doing them. I'll be glad when I've gotten everything shipped! That's just about as bad as doing all the listings.

Here are some pictures from Isaac this morning. I decided to let him invade Wayne's drawer of "electronic crap" in the kitchen desk. You will notice his lovely apparel of brown dress shoes and blanket sleeper. Today was one of those days where I picked my battles and neither of these were worth fighting. I'm just not feeling up to it! He had a great time tinkering around...
