No More Stitches!

Connor and Lindsey are on Spring Break this week, so they got to go with me today to take Isaac to the doctor. He got his stitches out of his finger this morning. He was so brave! He didn't cry at all. He just kept saying "Ow...Ow" It was actually pretty cute. The doctor was very nervous about the fingers ability to heal from this wound. He went ahead and put TONS of Derma Bond glue on it to seal it up good. That will give it several more days of protection! We are still supposed to keep a band aid on it to keep him from putting it in his mouth as there is still a chance of infection. Overall, the doctor said we did a great job of keeping the wound clean. As we left, Dr. Boley said "We'll see you next week for his new wound." I gave him a semi dirty look and told him not to say that!!! We both chuckled and out the door we went.

The builder called while we were gone and it sounds like we will have tons of work going on here tomorrow. That is so exciting! I really can't wait until the house is DONE...inside and out! But, being here together in a mostly finished house is better than living apart for any longer!
