Productive Weekend!

I'm so ready for a weekend day where we can relax and just enjoy the house and not feel like we need to get something done! Yesterday, the weather was wonderful (just windy). I put the junkiest clothes on all the kids and proclaimed it an outside day regardless of our dirt yard. The kids had the best time. Lindsey fell into the little creek...seriously, little creek...behind our house twice...accidentally of course! It only reinforced our need for a fence. She had 2 showers and went through 3 outfits. Connor had a friend, Nolan, over for the afternoon and went through 2 sets of clothes because I made him take his muddy clothes off before going to Nolan's house. I didn't want him in my house as dirty as he was so I certainly wasn't sending him to someone elses looking like that! Isaac was filthy by the end of the day, but loved every minute of being outside!

Laura, Eric and the girls came over for much of the day and Eric helped Wayne start getting the play set back together. They were actually able to get the entire main clubhouse reassembled. I was amazed at how much they got done! Thanks, Eric, for your help! All we have to do is add the swing/tunnel part and slide and it's done...yeah! We're going to wait until the irrigation system is done and yard is sodded before we do that.

We're gearing up for another busy week. Tomorrow a few different contractors are coming to do some finishing work. Tuesday, the painter is coming to do touch ups and a few fencing companies are coming to do an estimate. We have finally decided on doing a black aluminum fence, so that's one more decision done! Oh, we also had the landscaper out yesterday and we'll be getting that done soon too! Lots going on here, but things will settle down soon. I'm just happy to have spring weather here at last.
