Fun Day!

Today was nice. We all slept in until 7:30, which is pretty late around here. Church was fun as they are doing "kid friendly" services for the month of July. Isaac's Wee Play program must be working because he made it through the entire service in the nursery. The staff said he was an entirely different kid. For those who don't know what I'm talking about...Isaac has been attending a program through the park district called "Wee Play." It's 2 hours twice a week for 2/3 year olds. He seems to really love it. He still cries at drop off, but they said he only cries less than 5 minutes and then has a blast. He always has a huge smile when I go pick him up. We hoped this program would help with his separation anxiety and it seems to be doing the trick. I'm so relieved!!!

After church, we ran a few errands, fed the kids lunch and put Isaac down for a nap. I told Connor and Lindsey to the pool for a few hours while Wayne changed his oil and did some other stuff around the house. The kids are started a program at church that runs every night this week and Wayne is volunteering, so when they left, I took Isaac on a bike ride. We rode over to the park, played for a while, and rode back home. He loved being on the bike.

Here are some pictures from yesterday when Isaac was eating a chocolate donut. See....I'm OCD about my cleaning, but at least I let my kids make a mess of themselves! I would have NEVER let Connor and Lindsey do this, so I've come a long way! He was a mess!



Also, we moved Isaac into a double bed last Sunday. He loves it and feels like such a big boy. Here he is precious and sound asleep.
