Day Of Returns

I hate doing returns. I don't know why? Maybe it's that weird look the sale person gives you when something isn't right, or having to explain why I'm returning??? Who knows... Anyway, today I decided it was the day of returns. Isaac was in a good mood, so I got him ready and we headed out to Walmart, Kohls and the mall. I picked a great day to be gone for the morning because Isaac was an angel the entire time! I'm certain it was because he was with me alone. When Connor and Lindsey are with us, he thinks he needs to be up out of his stroller walking with them. That just doesn't ever work out, so he gets mad. Today was the first time since spring that it was just me and him and man was it so much easier!!

After we got home and he napped, we headed outside for the afternoon to wait for the kids to come home on the bus. After a week, Isaac is beginning to realize that he's just not going to be allowed to get on the bus, so his full blown tantrums from last week have turned into him just crossing his arms, pouting his lip and sulking. If it wasn't still naughty it would be pretty darn cute. At least he's not screaming anymore!

The evening went by quickly as Connor had football, which Wayne had to coach. Lindsey, Isaac and I went on a 45 minute bike ride with a stop at the park. That was fun!

Tomorrow is my first playgroup day here in Washington. I'm really looking forward to that!
