Bye Summer!

Summer is definitely over as Isaac has his first case of Bronchitis already. He seems to get it several times each winter. I'm not sure why he is so prone to respiratory problems. Our doctor said it's likely that he'll have a lot of allergies and asthma in the future. Poor Kid!

Anyway, he's been battling this cold for over a week. I was giving him breathing treatments, but they weren't helping too much. So, I broke down and took him to the doctor so I could get him healthy before our trip. The doctor said his lungs sounded bad and we added steroids to our daily regime, as well as more breathing treatments. He also had one ear that was teetering on being infected, so he is also on antibiotics. I hope today he will wake up fever free and stay that way all day!!! Hopefully his chest congestion will be better too! We leave tomorrow morning and I hate taking a sick little boy to grandma's for a week. I'd like him healthy before we go.
