FIREPROOF

Wayne and I had a great date night last night. We went to a quaint little Italian place for dinner and then headed to our movie. Our paster had talked about the movie Fireproof during church the other week and said everyone one who is, has been or ever plans to be married needs to see this movie. Then, we were approached by our Adult Ministries pastor about leading a small group based on the movie. So, we knew we better go see what this is all about.

I took a travel tissue pack with us because I heard it was a tear jerker. I sat through most of the movie wondering why people thought it was so sad. It was sad...but not anything to cry over. Then, the last 10-15 minutes I was bawling my eyes out. Had I not been in a packed theater, I would have totally been doing the "ugly" cry. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house...guys included. This big, burly looking guy sitting next to me was crying as hard as me.

It really was a great film about marriage and the sacrifices necessary to keep your marriage "fireproof." I look forward to the bible study! Wayne and I were both really touched by the film. So, another recommendation by me...GO SEE IT! AND...pack your tissues!
