Happy Halloween

Today was a great day!!! Isaac and I ran to Walmart first thing this morning to buy Halloween candy. I debated all week over whether or not I'd get many kids at trick or treat and I didn't think I would, but I just felt bad to not have candy out. So, I bought a few bags and came home to a full bowl, so I guess I shouldn't have gotten any. We just have so few houses at our end of the neighborhood that it wasn't worth any one's time. Oh well...Wayne can take it to work.

The kids had a Halloween parade at school followed by classroom parties. I went for the parade and then helped out in Lindsey's class for the party. It was nice to get to volunteer at the school. I always enjoy the little time I get to help. Hopefully I can do something in Connor's class sometime. Thank you so much to my neighbor, Carrie, for babysitting Isaac this afternoon. He napped at her house so I could go to the school. I really appreciated that!

Tonight, we went trick or treating. The kids looked so cute. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Isaac's costume. He was such a cute little blue monster. He even had a tail!! He loved every part of tonight. He would say "treat, treat" then get his candy and say "et ooh" then look at me and say "next house, light on." It was so funny. If the person was sitting on their steps, he would walk up and sit down next to them to ask for candy. It was adorable. Several of the neighbors got a good chuckle out of him. What a little charmer!

We stopped off at some friends house and the kids played a bit. I left to get the kids home and to bed. Wayne is still there. The guys were having some beers and hanging out having fun. Who knows when I'll see him or what condition he'll be in, but he was having a very good time!

Enjoy some pictures.

I think everyone looked very cute even if you think Isaac is your favorite. He is cute even without a costume. I remember those days but we had to make costumes, we didn't normally buy them.

The kids all look great in their costumes. Issac's is very cute, I hadn't seen him dressed up yet.
