Poor Lindsey!

Lindsey had 2 parties that she was supposed to go to on Saturday. A birthday party where she was going to paint pottery and a Christmas party. She has been looking forward to that birthday party for weeks! Well, early Saturday morning (about 3 AM) she woke us up that she had just gotten sick in her bed. Gotta love those wake up calls and thank goodness for waterproof bed pads! So, we got everything cleaned up, got her back to bed and about 30 minutes later she got sick again. Lucky for us, she made it to the bathroom this time. She was beyond disappointed about missing her parties. I told her we'll go paint pottery together soon.

I was running a 101-102 temperature Saturday night, but felt fine. I only checked my temp because I had a long sleeve shirt on and a sweater and I still had goose bumps, which is unusual for me. Today, I feel fine still. Wayne and the other kids still feel good, so I'm hoping no one else gets the flu! It's obviously going around at the kids school because 2 of my friends also have had pukey kids this weekend. So, Connor will probably get it at some point.

Today has been a lazy day. We missed church due to myself and Lindsey being sick and feverish yesterday. We've just hung out and watched football and read books most of the day. The kids didn't even get dressed. Oh well...I like a lazy day now and then!
