Play Day

Today has been a nice, laid back day. My neighbors, Carrie and Tiffany, came over this morning with their sons, Nick and Leyton. We had some nice, adult conversation while the boys played away. It was a nice time and hopefully we can get together again soon.

Thursdays are probably my favorite day of the week these days. I have no daytime obligations and the kids have no evening activities. I hate the evening rat race of trying to get homework done, fix a quick dinner and get the kids shuffled off to the activities. We limit the kids to 2 extra curriculars, but since they chose different things, it still adds up to a lot going on...

Nothing else exciting going on around here. I'm going to give Yoga a shot tomorrow morning (a friend wants me to tag along) and then I'm looking forward to the weekend.
