O-H-I-O

The kids and I had an uneventful drive yesterday. We stopped to visit Great Grandma June (Wayne's grandma) and then headed up to my parents. The kids had a wonderful time at June's house. Isaac didn't want to leave and Lindsey got and the car and said "I like Great Grandma June's house."

We arrived in my hometown just around dinner time. We met my parents at Friendly's for dinner and ice cream. I thought the kids deserved a little treat for being so good on the long drive.

Today, I went to the nursing home to visit my Grandma. My brother and his family came over and all the kids played outside most of the day. We headed out for dinner and then home for baths. It was a fun day.

I'm hoping Isaac sleeps better from this point on. He didn't nap in the car at all yesterday, which wasn't a huge surprise. But, he was up until almost 10 PM last night and up by 7:00 AM this morning. Then, he didn't nap again today....even though he was put to bed. So, hopefully he'll start getting caught up on his rest before he gets super cranky, sick or both!
