What a day!

Today was busy, but loads of fun!!! We got up and had breakfast and were off to the movies with the kids. Came home, had lunch and then I took Connor and Lindsey to the pool. Wayne stayed home and stained the deck while Isaac napped and then they joined us at the pool. Then we headed home for dinner and left again for Connor's baseball game. We ended the day with a trip to DQ and then home for showers and bed. We weren't home much, but what a wonderful family day we had.

Unfortunately, I look like a lobster tonight. I put on several applications of sunscreen during my 4 hours at the pool, so I'm not sure why I am so burned. I usually have 1 bad burn at the beginning of each summer and then I'm good to go. I really tried to prevent it with sunscreen, but it didn't work...bummer! I think I'm going to sleep in the basement tonight because it's colder down there and my skin feels on fire in areas. I spent all evening with ice packs on my thighs because they are so sore. I had planned to go to the pool again tomorrow, but I'm most likely passing on that now. Wayne says he'll take them alone if I am too burned to go. That just stinks, but I'm glad the kids can still go without me.
