Poor Connor

I took Connor and Lindsey to the Orthodontist yesterday for their monthly check up. Connor's expansion is going so well that we don't have to turn his spreader anymore!! YEAH!!!! However, he was ready to start the headgear process. OMG...this is just awful! Poor kid has to wear this metal mask thing that attaches to his expander with rubber bands. It is so uncomfortable looking and it totally makes his mouth sore.

He is supposed to sleep in this thing...all night! Ugh. Since it was the first week of school, we got permission to wait and start wearing it overnight on Friday. During this week, he is just supposed to wear it 1-2 hours in the evening. So, we put in on him last night. We we trying to be so serious, until Isaac blurts out "Mommy, why does Connor look so silly?" So, then we all had a good laugh, including Connor. He told me to take some pictures for my blog. He is weird. So, here you good. Enjoy a chuckle! Thank goodness he only has to wear this to sleep and it's only for about 2 months.
