St. Louis - Day One - Cardinals/Reds Game

We decided in July that we would spent Labor Day weekend in St. Louis. A large part of this had to do with the fact that the Cincinnati Reds (Wayne's favorite baseball team) has been having a good season and they would be in St. Louis playing the Cardinals that weekend.

Wayne took Connor and Lindsey to the baseball game and they had a great time!

Once we got checked in to our hotel, we headed to the Metro and went to Brentwood for dinner. We were going to go to Cheesecake Factory, but none of us were really that hungry, so we ended up at Johnny Rockets. After dinner, we went our separate ways. Wayne and the big kids hopped on the Metro and headed downtown to the ballpark. I didn't really have a desire to go to the game and I had less of a desire to deal with Isaac during the game. So, Isaac and I had a "date night" while they went to the game. We headed to the Chesterfield Mall and did all those little things that you don't normally do when you go to the mall. He rode the carousel, jumped on the trampolines and had snacks. He said it was the "best date ever." LOL!!! Hopefully he will change his mind when he gets older!!
