8 days again - sorry!

I thought I better get posting today since I haven't been on here in over a week. Sorry about that. We had a great week last week and topped it off with a trip to Pigeon Forge. Wayne only worked a half day on Friday and then we left for TN. We spent the night in a hotel because the rates are so low there right now and the kids LOVE hotels. Connor asked if we could live in one. We came home early Saturday morning so the kids could catch a quick nap before they went to their friend, Elijah's, birthday party. He is a good friend of there's from Preschool. They had a great time at his "cowboy" party. Saturday night we had some down time, so that was nice.

Then, things turned for the worse...In the middle of the night, Lindsey woke up with a terrible fever. It ranged from 101-over 103 all day yesterday. Finally at 7:00 last night, I got it down just below 100. Then, at 4:30 this morning she woke up with it over 103 again. I was going to call and make her a doctor appt. this morning, but when she woke up her fever was gone. It just came back around 4:00 this afternoon. Back to 102 again. She has no real symptoms, so I think she has some sort of viral infection. When her fever is up, she complains of a tummy ache. When her fever is down, she says nothing hurts. Now I think Connor is coming down with it too. I just felt him and he felt feverish. His temp was only 100, for now. We'll see if it climbs as the evening progresses. If so, we'll be starting him on the motrin/tylenol too.

Unfortunatly, my friends daughter appears to have this same virus. Unexplained fever that is random and very high with no real symptoms except a tummy ache when her fever is up. She is on her 9th day of it now. UGH! I'm hoping we don't have it around here that long.

Wayne leaves tomorrow for a trip to Indiana, so it will just be me and the kids hanging out together. Luckily, he'll only be gone about a day and a half, so that won't be bad.
