SNOW DAY!

The kids didn't have preschool today. We got about a solid inch, yes 1 inch, of snow overnight so every county near us has closed school today. I knew school would be closed as soon as I let the dog out this morning. It was nice having the morning at home. I was able to get some serious online shopping done at Gymboree. I loaded up on baby boy clothes because they were having a baby sale starting today. By 11:30, more than half the snow was gone and we took off to go meet Wayne at Pizza Hut for lunch. Apparently, the Pizza Hut workers couldn't make it to work in all that snow because they were closed. So, we headed over to the Pizza Buffett at the Fun Factory across the street.

We got home and the kids took naps, woke up and watched a movie. It was a peaceful afternoon. After dinner, they played around until bathtime. Wayne is gone skiing with some guys from work, so I've been fortunate that they've been really well behaved tonight. It's nice having them at this age. They are so much easier to work with.

I'm glad tomorrow is Friday because I'm ready for the weekend. Tomorrow night, I have a girls night out party at a friends house and then the kids have a birthday party on Saturday afternoon. Those are our only weekend plans at this point.
