Snow! Snow! Snow!

Snow is something that we see very little of down here in NC. But, we've had more snow in the past 5 days than we've had in the previous 3 years! It's only snowed a few inches overnight each night for the past few days and it melts off by mid-morning. We weren't able to make it down our driveway yesterday morning because of the snow and ice, so we let the kids go out and play in the snow. Here are some pictures:

I know it doesn't look like much snow for those of you up north, but that was the biggest single snowfall we've seen since moving here!

Saturday, we spent the day baby shopping! It was so much fun. We got lots of stuff we need for our new baby boy. He's spoiled already! I picked out his bedding and decided to go with a sports theme from Pottery Barn Kids. I LOVE their bedding. Here is a picture of the set we purchased:

Tomorrow morning, I'm driving over to Asheville to meet with my new OB doctor. I was pretty unhappy with my doctor here and since he is the only OB/GYN in town, I was left with no choice but to drive to the next town over where our insurance has coverage. That is Asheville. It's a little over an hour away, but the hospital and doctors are so much better. So, it is a sacrifice I am more than willing to make. The hospital in Franklin is just SO small and not equipped to handle any type of complication. Not that I'm expecting any, but I just didn't have confidence in my doctor or hospital. So, I've made the switch and feel much better now.
