Fun Weekend!

We had such a nice weekend. The weather was beautiful, so Saturday we met friends at the park. The kids all played and we had a picnic. It was a lot of fun and the outdoor activities really wore out the kids, so they slept great!

Yesterday, after naps, we took the kids to the movies to see Ice Age 2. They had a blast. We went out for burgers after the movie and then headed home. The kids weren't very tired at bedtime because of the time change, but they still did good. It stormed all night long and I was amazed that they slept through it all. They slept until 8:30 this morning, which is unheard of around this house. We had a busy morning running errands and having lunch with Wayne. We didn't get home until almost 2:00, so I'm not making them nap today. I need to shock their systems into the new time change so they are ready to get up early for school tomorrow.

They are being good, though, even with no nap. They are putting together a new puzzle I bought them and playing with toys. Plus, I got a movie for them to watch for some down time.
