Eye Update

Lindsey returned to the eye doctor today. Her vision is still 20/40 out of the eye she injured and 20/20 or 20/25 out of her other eye. I'm still hoping to see some improvement in her vision, but the doctor assured me that is not horrible vision for a child her age. Apparently at age 4, your vision is still developing. The good news is that the first layer of her cornea is already back!! We are still using the antibiotic drops to be sure no infection sets in, but it looks like she is on the fast road to recovery. We go back in about a month for another vision check. I'm thankful her injury wasn't any worse than it was. Not that this wasn't bad, but I'm sure it could have been worse.

I'm trying to get some housework done this afternoon. I'm starting to have to pace myself more as I get further along with my pregnancy. My body just gets too sore if I overdue. So, yesterday and today I've gotten most of my housework done and I'll wait and do the rest tomorrow. I'm also hoping to get started working in the nursery soon!! We have everything purchased and ready to go, we just need to get motivated enough to get the kids beds torn down and stored away.
