NO MORE HEAL STICKS FOR ISAAC!!

Isaac was back to the doctor today for another bilirubin check. His level was down to 11 and the doctors were thrilled. We get to turn in his Bilirubin Blanket back to the home health agency and he doesn't have to return to the pediatrician until his 1 month check up. The poor baby has had his heal's stuck 15 times in 10 days, so you can imagine how sore his little feet are getting. He pulls his feet away if you even try to touch them.

His weight today was 7 pounds 4 ounces, so he is only 1 ounce away from his birthweight. They were pleased with that too. I didn't figure it would take long because he is nursing like a champ!

He hasn't slept as well the past 2 nights. He seems to be very alert and awake from about 1 AM -4 AM, which is frustrating. He seems to have his days and nights turned around again. We had that corrected once, but he is back to sleeping very soundly all day and being awake more at night. So, we'll have to work on that again because I'm getting tired!!

That's all for today. I'm taking Connor and Lindsey out for some outside time in the sprinkler.
