We're here!!

We are in Illinois! The semi unloaded our household belongings on Friday and we've been busy unpacking. We were blessed to have some help. Laura and Eric came Saturday morning and left Sunday afternoon. My parents came Saturday night and are staying until Wednesday morning. With their help, we've been able to unpack the majority of the house in only 3 days!!! We have all our decorating stuff still in boxes because there is no point in hanging pictures until we get the walls redone.

Yesterday morning, Eric tore down the picture frame wallpaper in the bathroom. Today, Wayne and my dad spent the day tearing down the fruit paper in the kitchen. So, tomorrow Wayne is going to put on the first coat of primer. I can't wait until it's all done. It will look so nice. I couldn't believe Wayne got started on the walls so soon. I didn't even ask him to do it! He just woke up this morning and said that was what he was doing today. Of course, I didn't complain.
