Back to reality

Tomorrow Wayne begins work at the CAT plant here in Decatur, IL. It's been great having him around the house for the past week and a half. We've gotten so much done! I'll have to get some pictures on here soon. Wayne has painted the kitchen, downstairs bathroom and the dining room. Next he wants to tackle Isaac's room and the kids bathroom. Then, he says he is done painting until winter. That's fine with me because those are the only rooms that were really bizarre looking. The house is totally unpacked, but we do need to organize some areas and hang some things on the walls. That will make it feel like our home.

We are really enjoying our new neighborhood. The neighbors have all been so friendly and we are talking walks every night. Well, Wayne and I walk. Connor and Lindsey ride bikes, which they love.

Connor & Lindsey start school tomorrow afternoon. They are very excited! They are doing a special program called "A Year To Grow." It's for kids who make the age deadline for kindergarten, but are not necessarily ready to attend. Since they just turned 5 a few weeks ago, I decided to put them in this program for this school year and then do public school kindergarten next fall. I really didn't want them to be the youngest in their class.

Isaac is doing wonderful. He LOVES to stand up. It just cracks us up. We tried out a new church yesterday and he was not happy unless he was standing up on my legs and then he would talk and laugh. He was being so noisy. After church the people behind us stopped to tell us how much they enjoyed watching him. I think he will have to start going to the nursery pretty soon. I don't want him distracting people.

I'll try and get pictures on here again soon.
