4 Months already. Where does time go? I know...moving and adjusting!!! Isaac is doing GREAT. He is such a wonderful baby. The colic from the first few months has resolved and I enjoy him so much. He is still spitting up terribly, so we'll talk to the doctor about that at his 4 month check up next week. He also gets shots again next week. That will surely make him sad. He has started eating cereal at night and isn't sure what to think of it yet. But, he is getting a little better each day.
Connor and Lindsey are doing fantastic as well. They have gone through another change, but are doing okay with it. As I previously mentioned, I had enrolled them in a private half day Kindergarten program that was specifically designed for kids who were close to the cut off date for Kindergarten here in IL. It was a wonderful program, but 20 minutes from our house. So, twice each afternoon I was driving them to and from school. Well, Isaac was not dealing well with all the car time. He would scream the whole way there and back many days and wasn't able to get any good afternoon nap time. So, 2 weeks ago, we changed the kids to the Mt. Zion public schools. They started off by doing a week of half day Kindergarten there, but started full days yesterday. The teacher assures me that they are doing wonderfully and scored very high on the Kindergarten readiness test. They are excited because they get to ride the bus. Tomorrow will be a fun day as well. Connor is starting Karate and Lindsey is starting Dance. I cannot tell you how excited they are!!!! Lindsey still has her loose tooth. I'm not sure when it will fall out, but she is working on it a little more each day. Here are some new pictures of them.
Connor and Lindsey had the great idea of making a Mr. Potato Head pumpkin this year. So, last night, we bought a pumpkin and dressed it like a Mr. Potato Head pirate. I think it's pretty cute!Wayne and I are remaining busy working on the house. We decided that we didn't care for the colors downstairs. So, Wayne repainted...again! Well, he only repainted the kitchen and we painted the living room for the first time. Then, we hired a painted to come and do the entry way since it is 2 stories tall. I think it all looks fantastic now!! Here are some pictures:
I still need to redo the window covings, but I'm waiting on the fabric I ordered.
