One More Day!

I know I've been bad about posting this week, but you've got to give me a break. It's been a rough week. Wayne has been gone in Canada all week and comes back home tomorrow. I'm SO ready for him to be back. Having three kids all by myself for a week is such a challenge. I really don't know how single parents do it!! I only have to survive one more day and then I'll have my helper back!

Connor and Lindsey returned to school today. The past two days were snow days. The roads still aren't great, but they are better. My neighbors knew that Wayne was out of town, so they were nice enough to come and snow blow my drive yesterday. My other neighbor was kind enough to pick me up some infant motrin at Walmart on Tuesday, which I really appreciated. I'm so grateful to have such fantastic neighbors. Last night, the kids and I baked bread and cookies and made valentines and bagged all of it to give to the neighbors as thank you gifts. They all really enjoyed the treats.

Isaac and I went to the kids school this afternoon for the Valentine party. I was planning to have the neighbor watch him yesterday afternoon for the party, but then school was closed and the party was moved to today. My neighbor was going out of town today, but the kids teacher told me to just bring the baby so I wouldn't miss the party. Isaac was very good at school and seemed very entertained by all the commotion in the classroom.

Tomorrow, the kids only have a half day of school. No big plans this weekend, except spending time getting caught up from the week. Wayne promised the kids he'd play outside with them and they are really looking forward to that. We have TONS of snow for them!!
