Still in Ohio

Isaac and I are having a great week in Ohio. We've enjoyed doing some shopping by day and visiting family by night. It's been busy, but fun. We've gotten to see my grandpa a few times, which is good because he isn't in the best of health. Tonight, we are headed out to Amish Country for some yummy Amish food...my favorite!

I'm starting to get nervous for the flight home on Saturday...but...I'm sure I'll be okay. Anyone who knows me too well knows I hate flying. I have a tremendous fear of heights and take off of an airplane and any turbulence gives me terrible fear! Usually Wayne is with me to calm and reassure me, but I have to be a big girl this time and fly alone. Poor Isaac, if we have a flight full of turbulence, I may just hand him to a stranger and cry. Just kidding...I may cry, but I'd keep him. Hopefully he'll keep me occupied.

Wayne and the older kids have been having a great week at home. Connor and Lindsey got bumped up to the Junior Karate Class this week. The class they have been participating in is called Little Ninjas and is for kids ages 3-5. Apparently, Renshi Christie and Sensei Mueller thought it was time that they leave Little Ninjas because they are ready for a more advanced class. They felt so proud to be invited to join the older kids. I was sad not to be at their first Junior class, but it came with no warning. After class on Monday night is when they were invited to the new class and they started the new class on Tuesday. They are allowed to go 4 nights a week now, but I'm not sure that we will do 4 nights. They have been going on just Monday and Wednesday, so we'll see...

Isaac is still working on his teeth. He has 2 that will be in any moment. His gums are so sore, red and swollen. I feel bad for him. He's getting lots of Motrin and Oragel. It does seem to help some. He's been waking up at night at least once. I think when his medicine wears off. So, I give him more and put him back to bed. I'll be glad when all his teeth are in. I forgot how much teething stinks!!

I'm so proud of Connor and Lindsey! I can't wait to go see then in their new class.

You and Isaac will be just fine on Saturday! You could always ask for a shot. :)
