Change of plans

I thought Isaac and I would have a relaxing day at home today, but plans have changed. He woke up this morning with huge hive-like welts all over. They have come and gone in different areas around his head and body throughout the morning. So, he goes to the doctor at 10:15. He has also developed a terrible cough in the past 24 hours. It is a very wet, loose cough. It's kinda like the one he had right before he got croup. PLEASE - don't let him get croup again. That was just miserable. So, off to the doctor we go.

The kids had their school art show and book fair last night. The art teacher stopped me in the hall to tell me a sweet story about Connor. She has a paper from him framed in her room that she says will be there until she retires. It was a touching story and I'm glad he could impact her life.

Better go. Our doctor appointment is soon and I need to feed Isaac before leaving.
