Lucky for us, Isaac’s bug was short lived this time! His fever was completely gone by late Monday and hasn’t returned. He still has a bit of a runny nose, but nothing major. I’m happy he is healthy again. I was not at all ready for another week of illness.
Isaac still isn’t walking, but he’s getting closer each day. He’s had several times where he has taken 2-3 steps and falls. But his balance is improving at each attempt.
Yesterday, Isaac and I picked Wayne up to sign papers at the bank and then we went to lunch. Issac was so good. We took him to Arby’s because he loves their roast beef. He’s mostly eating baby food because he’s terribly picky and I can’t find enough real food that he’ll eat to make the change. But, he loves Arby’s. It’s too cute. He ate well and we took Wayne back to work. Connor and Lindsey had karate last night, so we all went to that and then took a walk when we got home. After the kids were all in bed, Wayne hung a punching bag for Connor and Lindsey to practice on. They are testing for new belts at karate on May 25th, so they need to step it up.
Today, after the kids left for school, Isaac and I headed out to the grocery store. When he napped, I worked in the flower beds trying to get some organization to them. The previous owner seemed to just throw stuff in wherever with no rhyme or reason. I’m more symmetrical in my gardening and need organization. For those of you who know me well…I’m sure that just shocks you!!! Our neighbor across the street has offered me tons of perennials, so I’m anxious to get some more things planted.
Isaac just laid down for a nap, so I’m off to scrapbook. I’m working hard to get Connor and Lindsey caught up in their scrapbooks. I stopped about 18 months ago and began working on a wedding album. Then I stopped completely when Isaac was born. Now, my wedding album is complete, so I’m back to their books. Once they are caught up, (I’m at August 06 now) I can start Isaac’s book. I really enjoy scrapbooking. I don’t claim to be the best at it, but I enjoy it as a hobby.
Thanks Grandpa & Grandma for my turtle clothes.

I got Ryan that turtle top and Carter has that whole outfit. It's so cute!
I miss you guys. Isaac looks so cute in the turtle outfit, but Isaac... watch out for your mommy in it because mommy is known to run over turtles.
