St. Thomas was pretty awesome, as well. The beach, Magen's Bay, is supposed to be on the National Geographic top ten beaches list. Once again, we opted out of our excursion and decided to spent the bulk of our day at the beach. We spent about 2 hours in town shopping in the morning, where Wayne got a new watch and he surprised with me with a diamond tennis bracelet. After that, it was back to the boat for lunch and off to the beach!
Magen's Bay was gorgeous. The water was very clear and calm. We spent several hours at the beach with our friends, Beth and Cannon. We had such a great week getting to know them. I was pretty sad to leave the beach since this was our last stop on our cruise.
The drive to and from the beach reminded me of NC. The roads were steep and windy and they had no guard rails. You could literally drive right off a cliff. But, the views were amazing. We got some great pictures.
After dinner, we packed up our bags to get them ready to put out before bed. Then, we met our friends at the Farewell Show, went to the casino and then played a round of bingo. We were actually in bed before midnight for the first time all week.
Our final towel creation!
