It's Here...

Our luggage was sitting on our front porch when we woke up this morning, so it must have been delivered overnight last night. I checked about 10 PM and it wasn't here yet, but it was here at 6 AM today. I'm so happy to have our stuff. Unfortunately, someone decided to take all my dresses. I had just bought 3 new dresses to take on the cruise. They were all packed together in a garment bag along with Wayne's suit and some other dress clothes of his. Well, all his items were still in the bag, but all 3 of my dresses are gone. I'm so sad about that. It's not a big deal compared to having all our luggage missing, but it makes me upset that someone decided to help themselves to my belongings. One of the dresses, I was particularly fond of. So, I called around several stores across IL and IN and I was able to find another one. I should be able to go and pick it up next weekend as they are shipping it to a closer store about 30 minutes from here. The airline is mailing me a Missing Property Questionnaire to fill out and return to them and they assured me they will be looking for my dresses...whatever! It's not like they could have just fallen out of the bag. They were latched into the hanging part of the bag. Someone would have to purposefully remove them.

On the bright side, we have all our other items and our pictures from our trip!! I'll get started trying to blog our cruise.
