Advanced Yellow Belts!

Congratulations to Connor and Lindsey. On Friday night, they tested at Karate for their Advanced Yellow Belts. They did great and we are very proud of them! Here are some pictures from test night. They aren't the best because the lighting is really bad at the gym.










We had a great holiday weekend here at home. Wayne and I both ran some errands on Saturday, which was nice. Then, we spent the rest of the day relaxing. We skipped out on church on Sunday because Isaac still hadn't gone 24 hours without a fever from this virus. We spent Sunday afternoon staining the deck. Today, I went shopping with my neighbor Erica and Wayne finished the deck. It looks great, but may need one more coat of stain. We had to stain it a dark brown color to cover the yellow paint the previous owners put on it. Seriously, decks are meant to be stained a brownish color. Why paint it?? Rant over! Anyway, here is a picture of our weekend project.

Isaac seems to be finally over his little bug. He hasn't had any temperature since mid day Saturday and it was only 99.5. So, he's better. Now, if I can just get the kids in the habit of washing their hands as soon as they get home from school maybe we'll keep him healthy.
