Cookies & Smiles!

The weekend was great all around. Wayne had a really good time with Eric up in MN watching Ohio State play. I had a great weekend at home with the kids and Laura and her girls. It was fun!

The kids have been working so hard at school and were so well behaved this weekend, that I thought we'd do something fun yesterday. While Isaac was napping, we decorated Halloween cookies. They had a really good time. It's hard for us to do these types of activities when Isaac is around because he is such a climber. I have a hard enough time keeping him off the kitchen table when nothing is going on up there!!

Isaac has started to learn what the camera means. Somehow he has figured out that when the camera is out, he should stop what he is doing, sit down and smile. So, I had a great time getting some pictures of him today. I think we'll keeping practicing so that we can get some good pictures of him for our family Christmas Card pictures.

Tomorrow I'm heading up to Peoria to visit my friend Mary. Hopefully Isaac will be a good mood!! He's been awesome for the past several days, so maybe he's turning things around. I love the kid to death, but he really is a challenge some days. I would be thrilled if he got a little happier!!!!
