Fall Fun!

Today sure was a busy day. Connor and Lindsey had 2 soccer games today, at 11 and 1. Wayne took them and coached the first game before leaving town to go to the Ohio State vs. Purdue game tonight. I had the neighbor lady come over while Isaac napped and got to the fields right as the first game ended. I had an hour to take the kids to get lunch and Wayne headed out of town. We made it back just in time for game 2. The kids lost both games, which they were disappointed about. But, we had 3 kids missing today and so all 7 remaining kids had to play the whole time during both games. They were exhausted by the end of the second game. I felt sorry for them! It was close to 90 and they were so red in the face and soaked with sweat!

After getting home from soccer, I got the kids cleaned up and we headed to our neighborhood's annual Chili Dump. Nothing sounds better than chili when it is 88 degrees!! It was a great time and the kids had a blast, but it was sure challenging to keep up with Isaac all evening. I missed having Wayne to tag team with on keeping up with the little guy. He is just so busy these days!
