It's been a busy week! Connor and Lindsey's school has their annual fall festival this coming Saturday. I've gone to some of the PTO meetings but I generally don't like to volunteer for a big task because of Isaac. I told the PTO president, who lives down the street, that I'd be happy to help out with things that I can do from home during naptime.
So, at the end of last week, she asks me if I will take care of getting volunteers for the festival this weekend. Let me just say that I was shocked that this hasn't been done already. They needed to fill 167 time slots. As of Monday, when I took over, they had only filled 5. I redid the schedule and was able to realized that we can do it if we have at least 87 people. So far, I've gotten 82 and I'm so relieved. The other moms on the committee think I'm some sort of super hero, but it has been a lot of work. I've had the phone glued to my ear for several hours a day all week. This has been an experience I never want to do again. I don't mind helping out like this and would even do this again next year. However, I would start recruiting people a lot sooner than the week before!!!!!
No pictures today. There has been no time! I'm also babysitting my friends son this week and next week while his babysitter is on vacation. It's been busy!

Oh Michelle, that is unbelievable! You deserve a spa day. Oh wait, we already established that, ha ha!
Yes, I was not AT ALL happy with them throwing this on me at the last minute!! They are already begging me not to quit PTO since I said something about how terrible it was of them to do that to a new person. I don't mind doing it, but some advance notice would have been nice.
