One of the things I loved about this house when we moved in was that the previous owner put up very nice blinds in all the windows. It had to have cost them a fortune. One of our blinds broke a few months ago, so we sent it back to the manufacturer for repair. When it was returned to us, we noticed it had several large holes in it. I think they probably cut into the blind with a box cutter when opening the package. So, we called about it and they tell us to package it again and UPS will be coming again to get it. We did that about 6 weeks ago and I was beginning to get concerned because I hadn't heard back from them. So, this week I inquired about my blind. Apparently it is missing. When I did the UPS tracking, it says that the package was declined by the manufacturer because the package was empty. So, somewhere in the shipping process, the blind fell out. We are talking about a 6 foot blind here. How does a 6 foot blind fall out of it's packaging and no one notices????? Come on! Good thing for us is that they have filed a claim for reimbursement with UPS and we should be getting a new blind soon...I hope! Even the UPS girl laughed when I told her the size of the blind and asked how could it have gotten misplaced.
